On the eve of the beginning of the new academic year, the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhii Naev, within the framework of civil-military cooperation with Protect The Future Charitable Foundation handed over 1,500 books to children who are being treated in regional children's hospitals in different regions of our country.
Within the framework of civil-military cooperation between the Command of the Joint Forces of Ukraine and Protect The Future Charitable Foundation, the Commander of the Joint Forces, Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev handed over 47 thousand sets of protective medical clothing to the doctors of Zaporizhzhia, namely: medical protective gowns, medical isolation gowns, surgical masks, protective medical masks, protective medical hats etc.
The action took place in five regions of Ukraine within the framework of civil-military cooperation betwenn the Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Protect The Future Charitble Foundation. More than 1,200 children who are receiving inpatient treatment in regional children's hospitals in Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernihiv attended the festive events.
The workers of the National Children's Specialized Hospital "Ohmatdyt" thanked the defenders of Ukraine by presenting them with scopes and a night vision device. The modern equipment was purchased with funds collected during the fair under the slogan "Maslenytsia goes - brings victory" with support from Protect The Future CF CO.
The Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev, handed over 12 sets of SurgiBox portable systems for emergency surgical operations in the field to the doctors of the Rivne Military Hospital, as well as innovative equipment for the treatment of wounds using the VAC-therapy method, which involves the use of negative pressure for cleaning the wound surface and accelerating healing.
A meeting was held between representatives of US-based volunteer organizations, medical centers, leading universities and manufacturers of medical equipment and representatives of UAF Joint Forces Command and Protect The Future CF CO within the framework of military-civilian cooperation.
