The action took place in five regions of Ukraine within the framework of civil-military cooperation betwenn the Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Protect The Future Charitble Foundation. More than 1,200 children who are receiving inpatient treatment in regional children's hospitals in Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernihiv attended the festive events.
- The charity project was introduced before the International Children's Day. Unfortunately, we are celebrating this memorable date for the second year in the conditions of a full-scale war. Now, more than ever, we understand what is the essence of protecting children, their happy childhood and future in general, said Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev.
The commander added that the war, which turned our country into a battlefield, inevitably affected the most vulnerable - the souls of young Ukrainians.
- Despite all difficulties and troubles, our children continue to dream, create, learn and grow. They are very happy about various festive events, because it lifts their spirits and makes them smile, said Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev.
