"Book From a Hero" Initiative: Hospital in Zaporizhzhya Received Hundreds of Children's Books in Ukrainian Language

As part of civil-military cooperation between the Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Protect The Future Charitable Foundation, the Zaporizhia Regional Clinical Children's Hospital received more than 300 books in Ukrainian for children undergoing inpatient treatment in a medical institution.

The books were handed over by Oleksandr Deev, the founder of Protect The Future Charitable Foundation in support of the "Book From a Hero" initiative of the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev.

- In the activities of the foundation, we pay a lot of attention to the care of children, because without exaggeration, the future of our country directly depends on whether our children grow up healthy and educated. Whether they will be real Ukrainians, with developed national and European self-awareness. Ukrainian children must be protected from insidious enemy influence not only physically, but also mentally. That is why it is important for children to study, read books, and love them. When we learned about General Naev's initiative, we immediately decided to join it, - stressed the founder Oleksandr Deev.

The staff of the medical facility always does everything possible to help young patients recover faster, to make their treatment process as effective and comfortable as possible.

- Books will help children not to be sad and that is very good. We are grateful to our military that they not only defend our homeland from the Russian aggressor, but also take care of the education and cultural development of young Ukrainians, - noted the director of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Clinical Children's Hospital Yuriy Borzenko.

We remind you that at the beginning of the academic year, the commander of the United Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev, handed over 1,500 books in Ukrainian to children undergoing treatment in medical institutions.
