Within the framework of civil-military cooperation between the Command of the Joint Forces of Ukraine and Protect The Future Charitable Foundation, the Commander of the Joint Forces, Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev handed over 47 thousand sets of protective medical clothing to the doctors of Zaporizhzhia, namely: medical protective gowns, medical isolation gowns, surgical masks, protective medical masks, protective medical hats etc.
Protective medical clothing meets the highest international standards, protects the surface of the body and respiratory tract, prevents the spread of infections, and allows effective work in conditions of increased complexity.
"We have been cooperating with the military for more than 7 years — almost since the very beginning of the Russian aggression against Ukraine. At that time, hostilities were taking place in Donbas, and on the initiative of Serhii Ivanovich Naev, the military sent wounded and seriously ill children from the front line to our hospital for treatment. This cooperation continues today. Currently, our military protects us not only physically, but also morally. Today, doctors have received sets of protective and insulating clothing that meets the highest standards and allows them to work in any conditions, even in conditions of radiation pollution of the environment. And this is important, because doctors must always be ready to provide medical assistance," stressed Yuriy Borzenko, director of one of the medical institutions to which the military delivered humanitarian cargo.
The humanitarian cargo arrived in Ukraine from foreign partners within the framework of the memorandum on cooperation between the Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Protect The Future Charitable Foundation.
