In the framework of the civil-military cooperation between the Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Protect the Future Charitable Foundation, medical humanitarian help was transferred to the Sumy Regional Clinical Hospital.
Sumy Regional Clinical Hospital is a leading medical institution with the highest accreditation category, in which a fifth of the population of the region receives medical help.
It is a multidisciplinary secondary health care facility that provides specialized 24-hour medical care to patients, including people injured by enemy fire, forcibly displaced persons, and civilians admitted for inpatient treatment. The humanitarian cargo handed over by the military consists of the necessary means for performing surgical interventions, equipment for conducting medical examinations of patients, means for relieving the condition of bedridden patients, and plastering consumables. Doctors also received medical surgical clothing, means for blood collection and transfusion, etc.
It is worth noting that the materials needed by the medics arrived from the USA with the assistance of the Protect the Future Charitable Foundation (head Oleksandr Deev) within the framework of the cooperation memorandum concluded earlier with the Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Our work on assistance to medical institutions in the frontline regions continues. In the near future, other medical facilities located in the Northern Operational Zone will receive humanitarian medical aid.
