This time, within the framework of civil-military cooperation of the Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Protect The Future Charitable Foundation, at the initiative of the commander, Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev, St. Nicholas in Pixel uniform visited the Chernihiv Regional Children's Hospital.
Young patients, their parents and the staff of the medical facility were treated to a festive program, namely, a performance by the folk group "Kralytsia" with an interactive theatrical performance "Christmas Nativity". The ensemble performed folk carols, songs and congratulations.
The children also received sweet gifts from St. Nicholas: in his congratulatory speech he wished everyone good health, endurance, recovery and a speedy returning home.
- In this way, we try to present a real fairy tale with joy and smiles to children in a difficult time for our country. After all, today it is extremely important to be a good-doer for small Ukrainians who systematically experience fear and horror of war while undergoing inpatient treatment in children's hospitals of the Northern Operational Zone, - emphasized Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev.
St. Nicholas with his assistants and pupils of the center for social and psychological rehabilitation of children in the village of Khmilnytsia did not pass by.
- Our children desperately need to feel the attention, love and care from adults. Of course, they were all waiting for gifts, goodies and a holiday. We sincerely thank you for your support and congratulations, - said the director of the center Olena Lukashenko.
